She is also learning how to crawl out of frame.

See you next month at your new place!

I had a blast in NYC shooting Melissa and Jesse's engagement session. Their wedding in Michigan was a blast too!
We started things off at the church on a very warm July day! |

The ladies were ready to go when they arrived and just had some last minute touch ups to tend to!

I love this shot of her before she made her way down the aisle.

Jesse gets a hug from the best man and the big show starts!

The church was beautiful!

Someone partied hard the night before. =)

We jump on the trolley and head to our first stop.

I photographed Amy and David's wedding where Jesse was a groomsmen. It was nice hanging out with familiar faces all day!

A parking garage will always get my attention!

And Melissa again! She was looking gorgeous!!

We stopped for a shake to cool off.

Back on the trolley with the wild wedding party.

This guy got his dance on too!

He danced his way over to the wedding party. So glad he did!

The Birmingham gave Melissa and Jesse a big shout out!

We had to shoot around this car that wouldn't move. Lame.

Jesse pulls a "runaway groom".

A final shot of Melissa and we head to the reception.

We were all treated to a live musical performance.

The girls make fun of the guys as they do the cheesy wedding pose.

A high five from the guys and the wedding party heads inside for the party.

A few more shots of the couple.

Another wedding. Another middle finger.

I really love this shot of Melissa!

My favorite shot from their first dance.

Jesse's father and sister.

The party was so insane the chandelier broke!

They treated the guests to milk and cookies on the way out.

Jennifer and Adam will be my first wedding of 2011 and at one of my favorite venues, Salvage One. We recently shot their engagement session and brought along their puggle for a few shots!

He was definitely entertaining himself.

Gotta love a puggle face! Yes, I am a little puggle crazy.

The light on the northwest side was working to our advantage!

After a few shots around their 'hood we headed to Wrigley. They also met here!

Our last stop was Belmont harbor at dusk. I really love what we got here.

The pink sunset was great.

I am really loving this one!

Can't wait to see you in 2011!

Katie and Will's wedding was something special. Will has been battling brain cancer for the past year and all of the wedding vendors involved wanted to make this the best wedding possible for both of them. Everything about their wedding was fantastic. The weather, the venue, the guests and the love the two of them have for each other. It was pretty incredible to be a part of it and I was honored that they chose me to photograph it!
I arrived to photograph Katie and she already had her dress ready for pictures. |

I love this shot of her getting ready. Don't worry. She gave me permission to post! =)

Her friend had the difficult task of making a perfect bow!

Katie's father takes a peek of his daughter in her gown.

A quick portrait before we headed to the church.

The ceremony started as soon as we arrived.

The flower girl caught me in the act.

I think Will really did have a smile on his face all day! I love this shot of the two of them as they were announced a newly wed couple.

The bubbles were blowing as they exited the church.

We arrived at the beautiful Botanic Gardens to start our quick photo session before the big party!

Their wedding party was great. Everyone was really excited for the photos!

I could shoot here all day!

We ditched the wedding party and headed around for more photos!

One of their favorite spots at the Gardens

They met overseas. Katie is from Canada and Will was born and raised in the north suburbs of Chicago. We decided to play around with their respective flags.

You can't go wrong having cocktails in the walled garden. It's beautiful!

I love the gate at the entrance!

My second photographer caught the flower girl taking care of some business!

Is he giving me the finger? Oh SNAP!

Kehoe did an amazing job on the flowers and decor. I love that blue bench too!

Katie had a cute ceramic house that the guests could write their well wishes and place them inside.

I love the "Mad Lib" layout.

Kehoe also had this great furniture on the patio for their reception.

The pretty and tasty cake.

Will raises his glass and the speeches begin.

Her father gave the greatest speech ever. Seriously. I believe the words "penis" and "breath" were actually involved. 'Nuff said.

Will's mother was loving it!

Some of the kids wanted to sing a song for the bride and groom.

And then it was a crazy dance party!

Thanks for letting me be a part of such a memorable night. All the best!

I want a goldendoodle. How cute is Jesse?
I photographed Robin and Bryan's wedding back in March. They asked me to stop by and hang out with Jesse a few weeks ago. |

Some of my favorite shots were taken on their front steps!

I brought over some bubbles for the shoot. Jesse was not that into them. =)

Jesse spotted their neighbor's pup.

After all of the play, Jesse was ready for some water.

And then back to business!
