Denise and Mark

11.12.09  |  Engagements

I had to start off with this shot of Denise and Mark's session.

We went to Uncle Fun's. I love this place!

I love the lines in this one!

The train shot...

We headed back to their place for a bit to get a shot of their cats! Here is a shot on their front steps...

And...the cats!

And then we headed back out for more fun!

I love this underpass. So cool!

I am going to miss the fall light!

Straightening up Mark's tie for our final shots!

See you at the wedding at the very cool, Salvage One!

Heather and Andrew

11.10.09  |  Weddings

Heather has been so much fun to work with from day one. I loved when we discovered our love for bad television choices. We had tons to talk about and it was a blast knowing that she was thinking the same thing that I was on her wedding day, 'When will Glee start up again'? =)

All kidding aside, she rocks and so does Andrew.

Here is Miss Sonia doing her magic on Heather...

I found a baby on the floor...

The bridesmaids getting her dress picture ready!

Some quick details...

I like this one!

Andrew waiting to see Heather for the first time! Thanks to their awesome wedding planner, Shannon Helmig, for making the first meeting go so smoothly!

Some fun around the city!

I made him give another bride a thumbs down. I am mean.

They let us take a few shots at the MCA...

Love the MCA!

And we were off to find other cool places to shoot!

We met up with the wedding party first and they were ready to get it started!!

I love his expression. Wow, he already looks over it and we just started! =)

I have been trying to do a few textures for each wedding I shoot. I am starting to love them. Maybe a little too much, eh? =)

And then we had time for another location! I love when people have tons of time for pictures!!

The guys acting like animals...

One of the bridesmaids bouquets...

Love this one!

Hmm... Is the groom getting tired of the photos? =)

Her awesome veil!

She looked amazing!

And we were off to the Kinzie Street bridge...

Another wedding with some beautiful light...

A jumping best man. =)

They asked me to take this one!

And we arrived at the Newberry for the ceremony...

Some beautiful decor!

And the ceremony begins...

I loved what they did with the fabric and flowers. Very cool!

Some cocktails...

Some reception details...

Heather's father gives a speech...

And Heather gets choked up!

More speeches!

Andrew gets choked up! Choking up across the board!!

The best man gave a great speech. Hilarious.

The first dance...

The hora!

Ha!

And then some of the dance party madness...

Uh oh!

LOVE this.

And what brought Heather and Andrew together from day one. =)

Thanks for having me. See you on Facebook! =)

Elizabeth and Cory

11.10.09  |  Weddings

I showed up at Elizabeth's parents place. They have a beautiful home near the Aurora airport. Everyone was about ready when I got there, but I snapped a few quick shots!

Surprising some of the girls...

A kiss and hug from mom and dad...

We got to take advantage of some great light around her parents place.

A beautiful bride and some dead sunflowers...

The first meeting happened as soon as we got to the church! I loved this idea of him just opening the door and seeing his bride...

And then we had a quick photo session around the church grounds...

And the ceremony begins. Their siblings played and sang for the ceremony!

Some tuning up...

And the fun begins.

I love the light from the program!

Cory's sister singing...

I loved this detail shot from in the church!

They had to pastors. They met in college and their college pastor flew in for the ceremony. The other pastor was from the church. The more the merrier, right? =)

And then we headed to downtown Naperville for part two of our photo excursion!

We spotted another wedding party so they pulled out their best 'West Side Story' moves!

And then we headed to the reception. It looks like the bus is blowing up. It was a fog machine on the bus. Crazy.

A quick shot of the ring bearer...

And some shots around the reception venue...

Yes, thats them!

Some quick detail shots...

Her father gave a great speech...

Her mother getting choked up...

Along with the bride!

Then they thanked everyone for coming...

The first dance...

Elizabeth and her father...

Cory and his mother...

And the crazy dance fest!

Their families made cookies for the party...

and they were good!

Cory's groomsmen stole his jacket and did a crazy dance with it on!

Cory's mother can put em down!!!

The bride was serenaded by the guys...

And the ring shot!

Thanks for having me.
